In one of its September issues, Social Indicators Research published a paper called Attitudes Towards Gender Roles in Cross-Cultural Surveys: Content Validity and Cross-Cultural Measurement Invariance. The authors are our former colleagues Andreea Constantin and Malina Voicu. The paper addresses the ability of international surveys to provide comparable data with respect to gender beliefs, and has good chances to become an important reference in the field.
